Yep, more likely.2 2nds and Thomas instead.

Colorado has a plethora of defensemen. Guys like Toews or Graves and even Byrum could be available.
I have no interest in Eichel, the guy has more problems than not lately. Better uses of assets are out there. Should make for an event filled golf season.
Yeah, we do. Toews and Byram aren’t going anywhere. Most Avs’ fans hope Seattle takes Graves. Toews will be protected!Colorado has a plethora of defensemen. Guys like Toews or Graves and even Byrum could be available.

It just depends on who can fit him under the flat cap while giving up enough assets. If it takes Turcotte and a couple 1sts, i'm all for it. I'd do Turcotte, Walker, two 1sts, and continue to add for Eichel + RR. For Reinhart i'd trade a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in different years.Obviously, any team would take Eichel in a heartbeat, it just depends on price. If it is two 1st round picks, Byfield, Iafallo, and a prospect or something then forget it. The price is going to be steep any way you slice it.
Any trade talks with Buffalo that mention Byfield is a non starter, period.

C. Timmins is a studI don't know that they do have a plethora, an injury or two completely decimates the defensive core. The Avs have 4 very solid guys in Makar, Toews, Girard, and Byrum (when healthy) and then the talent falls off a cliff. Johnson is hurt so often he can't even be mentioned at this point.
Toews is signed to a great contract and is going nowhere though, that's for sure.

...and like it!Buffalo will settle for Wagner and a 9th rounder.
obvious over payment is obviousBuffalo will settle for Wagner and a 9th rounder.
Yep, more likely.
And the same should be said about Turcotte, who will be just as vital to any team as Byfield.Any trade talks with Buffalo that mention Byfield is a non starter, period.
I would seriously consider that offer, IF Eichel were healthy. All moot until he gets well.Thanks.
To simplify it then, and bring down the ask,
Turcotte
Kupari
2021 1st
That eliminates all enticements for salary offset. This would be a trade after both drafts. If LAK did due diligence with Eichels injury(s), is this too much to ask. 5 years of Eichel.
Edit to add, what add to Turcotte would you consider fair? On our (sabres fans) end, I think there would be disappointment from that return. On my end, I could probably accept taking out Kupari since the 1st will be in the 7-9 range.
