Which, ironically, worked out SO well for both Colorado and Minnesota...I could see him and Hall trying to be a package deal ala Kariya and Teemu to colorado or Suter and Parise to the Wild.

It's gotta be Kaliyev, right? He has five more games in the NHL before burning a year of his ELC. 5 points in his last 5 games in ONT.No thank you, I owuld rather it be Kupari, Madden, Kaliyev, Thomas, Fagemo, or Turcotte.
Agree, but they better bring him up soon or QB won’t have any games left to play with him. Would love a QB/Arty pairing. It's gotta be Kaliyev, right? He has five more games in the NHL before burning a year of his ELC. 5 points in his last 5 games in ONT.

I lean towards Thomas if it was down to those two. Not that Arty isn't deserving, but the more youngsters who get to see what a pro does on a daily basis, the better. I would be fine with Turcotte too.
I'm sure they see them quite a bit as they share a facility, but the immersion is always better.
It would be nice to see what they have with Turcotte. His career so far has been a roller coaster. It gets a bit more magnified when you look at some other key picks in that draft like Zegras, Caulfield and Cozens who were all available at that pick looking like more than belong early on.
Turcotte was the right pick at that spot. He just needs to stay healthy and make a jump.
I wonder if it has to do with that collision around the net.
It might have been this high shot that he took to the shoulder. Looks like it may have hit Quick in a vulnerable spot.
With nothing but pure garbage time ahead, I don't know of it will do more harm than good to bring up a kid to play what is likely to be apathetic hockey.
I actually agree with using that spot on Imama. He's been a good soldier and isn't likely to ever see the NHL. Give him a good lifelong memory for all the punches he has thrown and taken for the team.
Definitely think the Turcotte or Thomas should get the call up. Let them get a taste of the NHL to see how far they need to go to be NHL ready. They can use the offseason to train.

Is this really the taste you want in their mouths all summer? Its practically beer league stuff out there right now. Disorganized, apathetic, passionless. I don't know if this is how you reward a kid. A month ago? Sure. Now though?
