Just finished watching the game, Miller is getting some big minutes at all parts of the game (PP, PK, last 2 minutes of a 1 goal game). I think he's got a very good shot at being on the top pair at the the big tournament in the Winter.

The only knock that stood out a few times, which can be easily corrected with coaching, is he sometimes chases the puck carrier around the net and going out of position leaving his side wide open. Fins almost scored once because of this but the guy missed an open net. He's still a little raw, but man he looks so good already, I really can't wait to see him in 2-3 years. Going to be a stud.

Jones also had a decent game but a great 3rd period. Was rewarded by being on the ice in the last 40 seconds of the game with Miller to try to tie it up.

That would be nice ... is Jones signing next year while Miller likely 2 years away from finishing college ?
I don't think he'll be a one-and-done in college, especially since he needs to grow and get stronger. I can see Jones being a three-year player and then turning pro. We have the benefit of not needing any LHD in Hartford, so there's no need to rush him.

Also Idk what USA’s coaches are telling him; last man back, goes straight for the puck-carrier, then does the same goddamn thing 10 min later.

I think the challenge for K'Andre going forward will be risk mitigation. Just because you can cover more ice than the average player and break up plays more often doesn't mean you always should.

That said, I like that he remains calm and loose at all times. He has a brutal turnover w/ an ill advised attempt to break up a rush and gets scored on, comes back next shift and skates the puck in by himself and tries to make something happen.

He definitely has the aura of an all situations minute eater.

Lundkvist’s game at a moment is a lot more mature. Not trying to start something just making an observation.

He gets in these grooves where he tries to rely too much on his athleticism instead of keeping it simple and just staying in position. It kind of reminds me of how I remember Subban playing in the 2014 ECF where he was just trying to put the team on his back and force everything and in doing so made him more of a detriment than the positive that a player of his caliber usually is
