What? Based on the summer Instagram photos, these guys are friends. If my friend had kicked my ass, they would have been a whole lot more animated than that.
This is a big nothingburger.

I respect that perspective -- but not everyone has that perspective (like me, for instance, lol). If they're cool with it and have an understanding that's great. I'm just trying to imagine being utterly embarrassed at the highest stage of my passion/profession and having my friend joke around about it like that. to each his own.

Vegas are far and away the most impressive team in the West at the moment. Certainly looks like the road to the SCF runs through them again.

I think Vegas definitely looks good but they're going up against a human sieve in net, I'm not sure if they'll look quite as good against a goalie who can at least stop a beach ball. In the playoffs Martin Jones is actually playing worse than his sub .900 save % regular season which says a lot.

The Avs are so top heavy. They make jaw dropping plays even in the playoffs, and adding Makar is just unfair. You’re not supposed to be able to pull the amazing plays off in the playoffs.

If you can keep their top guys off the board you can win easily has been the mantra all season, but Calgary can’t do it. I’m not sure anyone can. Grub’s is Mrazek hot and the defense is putting up an impressive fight.

Watching Mackinnon live to me is an experience equal to watching McDavid live this year. I’ve been lucky to do both. Mack is ridiculously explosive, he stops himself way more than anyone else can stop him. The scary part is that’s happening less and less.
