Columbus winning this series means future trade deadlines will be more exciting and action packed.

No one flopped like the Lightning in the regular season. Their flopping ways just don't work for playoff hockey. I'm obviously still surprised they lost, though.

I was cheering for Columbus exactly because of your first point. GMs are already so conservative and afraid of making moves, if going all-in blew up in the Jackets face you might not see a big deadline for a decade. Hopefully this result loosens things up a bit. Good on Jarmo for going for it

Brent Burns: $8M AAV until 2025 with a M-NTC
M-E Vlasic: $7M AAV until 2026 with a NMC

Oh, and Pavelski, Karlsson, Meier, Labanc and Donskoi need new deals this summer.

I seriously wonder what the bigger choke job is: Tampa clown pounding their way to the President's Trophy and then losing 4 straight in the first round, or Greg Norman's choke of a 6 shot lead at Augusta in 96?
Don't forget an Atlanta 28-3 lead over the Patriots halfway through the SuperBowl with literally the entire US (outside New England) behind them...

Not that it matters to 'Cane-NHL Fans.
But, up here in London we were ahead 3 Games to o vs Guelph.
Guess what?
We lost the next 4 games including the 7th game last night.
Oucccccchhhhhhh!!
As Yogi said, "It's never over 'til it's over!"

Epic collapse in game 7, too. Up 3-1 and then gave up 5 unanswered goals for anyone who doesn’t know.
