Not ideal, he's been moved down the lineup and isn't playing his natural position of C right now. But from just a pure stat watching perspective his production is up from last year and he is a 20 year old playing in a mens league (albeit Tier 2 in Sweden).

Would be curious to see if we could get him over to NA but honestly I don't trust the Utica development system.

Rafferty played alright today but his points were really nothing; it was the very nice passes that followed (Baertschi, Brisebois) that led to the goals.

MacEwen is one of those guys who probably needs to play at the NHL to get any better. Let's face it, the knock on him has always been his skating. It doesn't hold him back at the AHL level, but you can see him struggling at times with the speed and pace of the NHL game.

I'd like to see him get a few more games. But the reality is there's no room for him.
