Aaltonen reminds me a lot of Hagelin; play style and everything. Not strong on the boards but definitely goes there with his stick. Takes snap shots. Constantly moving on the ice (which is very different from simply being a very good skater).

While I hate that two of our first four picks were defensemen again, I feel like we kinda hit a Homerun for those picks, in the aggregate.

Skinner and Robertson are the kind of picks that can be big winners. Not every pick is sexy that scores a lot and flys all over the ice but these two guys could be great complimentary players to offensive dman and could be very solid nightmarish defensemen that other teams have to try to get around to score on.

I know we need high end offensive players but our defense is looking great for now and the for the future. Building from the net out creates a championship team.

Next year will be drafting high end forwards. Especially from our extra picks from names, vesey, krieder trades and maybe shatty at 50% retention

Robertson was a tremendous value pick. The boom potential with Jones is huge. I'm not really complaining. Hunter Skinner is the only pick I don't really like so far.
