Werenski playing...but usa going with 8 dmen so hopefully Fox still gets some minutes

NHL Network should have it, otherwise if you have a VPN, you can use the livestream links on the IIHF website.

Yeah unfortunately NHL network has somehow restricted it so it can only be viewed on my home WiFi.

He plays the Byfuglien/Burns/Werenski rover role well.

Only problem is, he doesn't have a Chiarot/Vlasic/Jones to take care of the "housekeeping" while he galavants.

our need for better dmen around him is a different story...but I think for people ready to blow him out of town, this tourney is showing that brady can still be a heck of a dman put in the right situation and can still be part of the long term solution at his age.

US Coaches made a huge mistake trying to ride Suter at the end of this game. He turned it over several times and then iced it while 6 on 4. He's still a good player but he's 34 and has never been a real offensive defenseman

Team USA, poorly coached and with too many talented players who did not show up

Yeah their coaching staff was terrible. You couldn't pick 3 worse coaches who were available.

Swiss had that game, just got some bad luck. Heartbreaking loss.

Dubois sets up the game winner in OT. I wonder what JD thinks of him?

no shifts the last 2 games for fox which stinks but still a good experience for him

I think Brady has looked pretty good. He looks much better when he's not asked to be a 1/2,

Yeah, Skjei had a really strong tournament. Looked poised and confident with the puck and in all areas. If anything I think he was a bit underused by Blashill (who haven't exactly impressed my much...). Skjei did however position himself as the No 2 after Suter but ahead of Hanifin who also played well.

We talk about the need for a true No 1 LD. And of course Skjei shouldn't be expected to become one of those really solid 25-30 minute eaters that can carry a team. But OTOH its important to remember that the game can be broken up into three parts with the 5 on 5, PP and PK. When Skjei peaks (remember that he is just now entering the age Ds normally have when they start to come close to their peak, normally Ds his age continues to improve for a good 3-4 more years) I definitely think his play 5 on 5 could get close to what you want from a top pairing LD. If K'Andree can become a monster who can PK as well as contributing in other areas and we can rely on TDA and Fox for the PP -- having Skjei as a top pairing LD hurts us a lot less than it would if Skjei also was expected to be the top PP guy and start every PK.

China the country name comes from the Sanksrit word "cina" which was not the Sanskrit word for tea... Calling porcelain 'china' comes about because porcelain is originally from China and we're too lazy to say 'chinese porcelain' in order to differentiate it from porcelain that started being made in other countries

I heard that it came from the emperor Qin who united the country, but I also see now when I check that its stated to be the "believed" origin, it seems to be a bit unclear.
