russia wins the bronze in a shootout...so georgiev gets a bronze even though he didn't play much. no chytil again today.

They said the shootout was because of the gold medal game. They have 2 venues. Why not just split them? Then it doesn't matter how long the first game goes.

thats not true, international games are always decided in a shootout if tied after overtime...the most famous one being peter forsberg's shootout goal against corey hirsch to win the gold at the 2004 olympics

IIHF changed recently to have the gold medal game not have a shootout. I wonder if they'll make the bronze medal game be the same eventually.

Wow, should have picked Kakko to take that penalty shot. They pick a defenseman who had a piss poor attempt

Ferraro ripping the Finns coach apart over his choice to use a defenseman over Kakko in the penalty shot

And now 1-0 Canada

Finnish player really lack vision/playmaking.

But nobody works harder.

Kakko waking up for 2nd.

barely offside Kakko would have been in one on one.
Been a really fun second period

No Zuccarello game 7 OT winner so we're owed a Kakko Golden goal.

The end of this game is going to be the only hockey I've seen from this tournament.

It sounds like neither Chytil, Fox, nor Georgiev got much usage?

I'm super ready to never hear this announcer say Haakanpaa's name ever again.
