He doesn't have anything to show for it (yet), but J.Hughes has played well.
Yeah he's been one of the better US forwards. Lotta big names for USA not showing up so far.

Skjei's been alright. THe D hasn't really been the problem it's been the forwards. You know what would be REALLY cool? If Brady Skjei turned out to be a good defenseman.

He was 4 on McKenzie's consensus rankings.Montoya was a little out of left field, but I feel like that was a different era of decisionmakers.
It was still not a top-2 pick in a draft without any other candidates even a possibility to be picked.
This is massively different from 6th, 7th or 9th overall where 10 teams have 10 different lists
I mean for the Rangers.Skjei's been alright. THe D hasn't really been the problem it's been the forwards.
I would definitely consider that turning out good.Or if he could be in a position to settle into a second pair role where he belongs.
Looks kind of goofy with a C on that douche, although his international resume speaks for itself.as talented as Kane is, sometimes he's a complete disaster
US is a weird mix of untalented, slow, and small.

seems like everyone on the team embodies at least one of those qualities. Maybe not Eichel (?) but he seems like he doesn't give a shit a lot. bad showing no matter how you slice it.Nah there's a ton of talent on the team they're just not utilizing any of it
I was about to respond that they have too much talent for their own good, then Martinez whiffed on a yawning net.US is a weird mix of untalented, slow, and small.
