I think Thomas, as they pointed out, was the "safest" of the top tackles, not "best". Both Wills and Wirfs supposedly have higher ceilings

I preferred Wills. But agree with the need to come away with one of the top3 OTs.

But again, sitting at 4 and ending up with Thomas... just feels like yet another waste of draft capital on Gettleman's part. To me, the big 3/4 tackles were pretty much interchangeable.

Andrew Thomas was always a top 5 pick. I'm not even a Giants fan, and I understand the Gettleman hate, but Thomas is a great pick for you guys.

You guys are gonna have a some great talent to pick from at #11 especially at the Jets Positions of needs.

Totally agree. If Wirfs or Wills are there at 11...I think Douglass pounces. If they aren't I think he'll go Jeudie or Lamb.

The other thought is maybe just maybe the rumors of Jets and Eagles talking switching 11 for 21 in first round and Jets getting an extra 2nd round pick could possibly be in the cards afterall...hmmm

I think he's supposed to be the best LT prospect. We're not sure if Wills or Wirfs can be an LT.

Yup...everything is setting up very nicely for the Jets. If Douglass has shown anything so far as GM, unlike Maccagnon who was allergic to O-Lineman, Douglass certainly isn't.

Jets are going O-Line here unless of course they trade the pick to the Eagles.

I think Douglass takes Wirfs unless he doesn't love him or Becton than maybe he makes that trade to Philly. It makes sense as Jets have lots of holes still. An extra #2nd round pick to move back 10 spots...I dunno, I'd be tempted.
