I want:

Simmons @ 4
Trade back up into the 1st round to take an OL. They should be willing to part with their 2nd rounder this year and a 2nd or 3rd rounder next year to do so. There's some good tackles this year that should slip mid-late first round.

Nervous as hell. I know we desperately need OT but if we end with with Becton or Wirfs and Jeudy and Lamb are still on the board I won't be too excited about that. I want someone who can make an impact on offense right away.

I'm expecting a Giants trade back with either Jacksonville or Oakland and grabbing one of the big-3 O-lineman this year - Wirfs/Wills/Thomas.

I shudder to think what the defense will look like this year - and have literally no clue who they are expecting to be pressuring opposing QBs.

the players drafted are ok yet his botched FA, deplorable use of the cap, the crazy Williams trade and continually contradicting himself tells me the guy is a Dinosaur.

Due to so many poor decisions, Gettleman again is faced with building the offensive line. That’s amazingly bad. The defense, which can’t stop anybody still is ranked dead last in dollars spent even after the FA signings. Still, for the 3rd year in a row he’s likely going offense. An offense which still can’t block.

IMO, he needs to trade back b/c roster needs bodies in the worst way. This team is terrible and the Generational Barkley is already entering his 3rd year.
Gettlemen's draft last year was horrendous. Jones was WAY overdrafted (Josh Allen goes right after, drops a casual 10.5 sacks as a rookie), they draft a run-stuffing DT they barely play half the snaps at 17 (LOL), and pick a man corner at 30 whom they promptly play in soft zone scheme and he gets shredded.

After drafting a RB #2 overall like it's 1990. Mind-numbing.

Dude's gonna go off board for the 5th 1st round pick in 3 years. Who's the best safety in the draft? Gettleboy will probably do that.

I can't believe that guy that while had significant issues with fumbling showed so much promise in his rookie year, somehow was overdrafted. And that whole thing of we could have gotten him at 17, how do you know? There's rumors other teams wanted him. You clearly have an ax to grind with Gettleman, zero credibility to your post.

As evidenced by your two posts to me, you have no concept of 1) results oriented thinking , 2) positional scarcity, or 3) positional need. I also don't think you know what overdrafted means.

I have an ax to grind with Gettleman because he's bad at his job and enormously botched two drafts of a team I like. Hard to connect the dots, but there, I did it for you.

What does overdrafted mean other than drafted too high? So you're complaining about positional scarcity and need and then trash DG for drafting a QB at 6 overall rather than waiting and hoping he falls to 17? Oh and Saquon Barkley has gold jacket potential and won rookie of the year, a year ago. I guess we could have drafted a QB, all of whom weren't any better than Jones in their rookie year, outside of maybe Lamar Jackson, who wasn't going that high anyway.

Yes, he could have drafted Jones at 17. Washington was the only team who needed a QB in between 6 and 17 and were always taking Haskins. There are multiple stories of Gettleman going to the Senior Bowl, watching Jones for like 6 minutes, going "that's my guy" and then leaving before the game was over (!?!?). You should youtube some of the ON CAMERA reactions the sporting world had to that pick. A literal laughingstock.

That stems from taking a RB at #2 in a fantastic QB draft necessitating taking a QB at #6 in a fantastic everything-but-QBs-draft. This 'gold jacket potential' RB has been on the field for 9 wins in two years while getting making the 2nd most RB money in the entire league. That's horrific value, and the opposite of what you try to do in a capped sport.

Drafting a run-stuffing DT in the mid-1st in a sport where the run means less than it ever did and QB pressures mean more than it ever has is yet more dinosaur thinking. It's the least impactful position on the field.

You have underlined that you don't understand results oriented thinking by pointing out what the other QBs have done elsewhere since their draft year, so I'll leave that where it is. It's fine dude. Rock on. I hope he doesn't do anything stupid.
