I feel like he's much better off in SHL with Skellefteå than in OHL. He needs to play against men in a structured environment. That's how he's going to learn to play defensively. Loose end-to-end junior hockey isn't going to teach him that, and Skellefteå is a great club at developing players. Really hope he stays in Sweden.
I guess the upside with OHL though would be that he'd have more of an opportunity to hone his offensive game, so there's that. But I feel like that part of the game will come in time anyway, just like it did with Klefbom. Just need two years in Sweden and then a year in AHL.
