He got hurt during practice around game ~10 and was listed as d2d. Than around game ~35 or so they said he said surgery to fix his injury and would be out long term. We don't even know what the injury was lol. The Avs just don't give any information out at all.

I think the only info we got was when one of the reporters tweeted that he was no longer using crutches lol

With all the ludicrous completely serious complaining around here, how exactly can you differentiate joke complaining? Anyway it's a fact that Wilson is on IR, sorry if that ruined the joke.

With Wilson, they were trying to see if his injury would get better with rest. When it didn't they finally decided to do surgery on it. That's how it goes with injuries sometimes.

Looking at the schedule, if Mack returned after the Habs game, for the start of 3 game trip, he'd miss 6 games.
