Ketchup is absolutely revolting and it is also completely obsolete thanks to the creation of BBQ sauce.
All right, you at least pass the anti-ketchup test.

I thought maybe you still had a kid’s palette, preferring Skittles to Reese’s.

BBQ sauce is still a little too sweet for me, but much superior to ketchup.

I’m a hot sauce, spicy mustard, & horseradish guy when it comes to condiments.

My favorite BBQ sauce is East Carolina style vinegar sauce. I'll mix that shit myself, it's dirt simple. It's good on everything, or for just spraying into your mouth for random flavor shots throughout the day.

I too lust for hot sauce, spicy mustard, and horseradish. I have four different mustards in my fridge currently. I mentioned eating Crystal Sauce and saltines as a snack. That's not a joke I actually eat saltines coated in hot sauce as an ideal snack.

Ketchup is a sad, failed attempt to recreate sauce made from fermented fish guts.

What a college student.

Well, that explains a lot about Beef.
Vinegar B-B-Que sauce?
Saltines?

Obviously a man of warped tastes and judgement. :sarcasm:

East Carolina vinegar is the credited bbq sauce.

As for hot sauce, I put it on everything. Pickles, tomatoes, chips, pretzels, everything. So I get the Saltine thing & have done it myself.

Here I go getting booed again. Hot sauce is blah, but it’s useful for kicking up a bbq sauce a notch.
I’ll take plain sweet baby rays bbq sauce, toss in some mikes red hot(I was bought a really nice hot sauce that I cannot find or remember what it was that was so much better before), brown sugar, olive oil, and there’s usually one other thing that I’m blanking on for some damn reason.

Vinegar ain't B-B-Que sauce, at least not in the great state of Texas.

Jebus. Give AV some credit for managing Myers TOI. To sit here and pit The TOI of Myers and Hagg and think you have won the lottery of logic is hilarious

Myers has been a blackhole the last month of abandoning the net and his zone coverage, leading to momentum goals.

It's hilarious to show the advanced stats to say Myers pair should have been on the ice more...especially when Hagg saved a 2-1 goal by covering for him

Also, yet again, as per usual, another broken play happened which wasn't Myers fault, but he chose to chase the puck behind the net instead of covering the net....AGAIN. Only by luck it ended up in a hand pass by Pit

So I give Myers full credit for having a monster game, and love the growth for the most part...but it was sheer luck he didn't cost the team 2 surefire scoring chances by completely misreading the play

More icetime could have easily resulted in more Myers detrimental miscues which put Pit back in the game

I got to this post and was thinking it was in the wrong thread... I thought this was the menu thread....

I'll go to the penalty box...
I FEEL SHAME!

A lot of coaching is simply pushing the right buttons:

“One of the things that I like about Jake is we’ve come in here with some nonnegotiables as far as what you need to do when you don’t have the puck, the shooting lane to get into and Jake has been really easy to manage,” Vigneault said. “Sometimes those elite players, they need a little extra room with the puck and I agree with that, but there are some nonnegotiables without the puck, things that you have to do and he’s doing it for our team.”

'You don't want to be pampered' — How Vigneault has gotten Flyers to look in mirror

I always thought that Jake was held back by his lack of focus off the puck, that he wanted to be Patrick Kane rather than Mark Stone.
This season, despite the fact that he's lost a stride, he's played a far more complete game than in the past, so has JVR.
JVR was playing with a snarl last night, both are big boys who need to use their bodies as well as their offensive skills - not fighting, but going to the net, and pushing opposing players off their spot on defense.

While some posters seem to think it's all about scoring points, AV and I agree that it's all about "taking care of business," play the right way, get back on defense, and you get the puck back to make offense happen. We saw that against the Pens, we've seen that this whole winning stretch, play tough defense and you're in every game even when you're not getting puck luck or your goalies are Elliott/Lyon.
