Stunning turnaround in such a short time for a guy that was on the outside looking in a year ago.
I'm gonna be pissed if the season ends here and we f***ed out draft positioning for no f***ing reason. What a way to piss away a terrible season for no gain. Typical kings
Sharks are now the worst in the west.
I take heart in the fact that Ottawa's owner is so terrible, he'll mismanage whatever he gets from the draft anyway.Sens fans approve. Possibly picking #2and #3 (before the lottery) is just sick. F'n Doug Wilson.
If guys like Vilardi, Anderson, and Petersen learned from this seven game stretch, then it was a positive season. The odds of winning the lottery are so slim. The difference between 5th and 8th (which is where we were most likely to pick anyway) isn't significant. Lafreniere and Byfield most likely go one and two, but take your pick between Stutzle, Drysdale, Rossi, Perfetti, Raymond, and Holtz. Who knows how picks five through eight shake out. Our odds of landing the first overall pick dropped a whopping four percent. The positives of finishing the season on a seven game winning streak far outweighs an additional four percent chance to pick Lafreniere, in my opinion. Changing the losing culture was paramount this year.

I’m just pleased and extremely satisfied to see the pain and miserable hockey we have had to endure is slowly starting to become a thing of the past thanks to an injection of youth. Some of us frustrated fans have been waiting for this moment, and things will get better for this team in the near future.
Big Idle arrival! Hard to believe he's actually playing. If you rearrange the letters in Gabriel Vilardi's name, you get Big Deli Arrival, and I think that's beautiful.
Unbelievable but unsurprising that people are upset over the Kings winning on the backs of the prospects already here stepping up.

A good deli arriving in LA? I might trade Vilardi for that.
The Kings are now in 28th. Odds now are 28.8% for a top 3 pick, 2.8% for the 4th pick, and 68.4% for 5th thru 7th, with 5th being the highest chance.
