way the rule's written unfortunately, doubt they'll ever call one back unless it's literally toe kicked in while the puck's stationary

don't think there's really any way to rewrite it though without disallowing all deflections, even from point shots off legs etc, it's always gonna be a shitty unenforceable rule

Redirecting the puck is legal tho. I don' think you'll ever see one called back unless the skate is picked up off the ice or an obvious pendulum motion of the leg occurs. I'm not mad about it, if that were a King I'd want that goal to stand.
