You can't really knock a powerplay goal because it was scored on a deflection. That specific goal had great puck movement and player rotations. Kovalchuk was at the point after swapping with Doughty, allowing him to move down to the top of the circles. It was a good powerplay setup, with good movement that ended up with a puck in the back of the net.

I just think it is too early to be knocking TMac and his line decisions, especially when they have produced results in the first couple of games.

Yeah that’s definitely a fair point, but I think we have a lot of guys who could perform just as well on the power play and I was hoping McLellan’s fresh eyes would give more people a chance.

Are the Kings dumb? Why are they holding onto the puck for the other team's delayed penalty on their own power play? Also, why do they give up possession so early during a penalty kill for the other team's delayed penalty? Why can't they do what the Senators do?
