Was Rittich seriously holding his glove in front of the Kings forechecker? Is that the reverse Avery?
i mean that's what goalies do right? get the game catered to them then exploit the rules even further

Flames are all super brave when they can horsecollar a guy from behind and are mute as monks until a ref shows up to rescue escort them back to red territory.

Hmmm. Todd punishing DD tonight. TB probably already on a plane back to Sweden.

MacD hasn’t been too shabby on the defensive side, either. He’s our Raitis Ivanans.

Oh well, fun game regardless, can't really ask for much more than this entertainment.

Would like a win just because it's Calgary but would just prefer the last period looks like the first.

MacD lucky to not get a penalty there, if that’s not cross-checking I don’t know what is.

I liked MacD in there as a 7th D to send a message but up a goal in 3rd he should be odd man out in 3rd.

2nd straight games up in the 3rd on the road. Hopefully they can finish.

Flames will come out like gangbusters. Just weather the storm, hold on for dear life and we'll be fine.

I think the Kings are still adapting to the new system, which is why they have been coming out playing well and stumbled when they hit some adversity. I think some of the vets resort to their old style when things get shinny. I think Brown had the quote that basically since Crawford they have essentially played the same style.

It makes sense. There's tons of learning still to do. McLellan said it's gonna be a process and they hadn't even started refining special teams at all yet.

At least almost all the players as individuals look invested and are giving forth effort. That's contagious and you don't want to be the odd man out.

Watching Kovy dig tonight is great.
