Well, yeah. The Kings went two straight periods without a powerplay despite dominating possession and the Flames comitting a number of panic penalties when the Kings had scoring chances. Just because they didn't score on this powerplay doesn't change that fact.

I definitely like what I see from him. Obviously he is a player that wouldn't have been on Lombardi's Kings, but it just shows how narrow-minded and outdated that philosophy is now. He has great edges as long as he stays up, very quick, excellent playmaker.

I can't believe im saying this but Mac is a better player and fighter imo Ivanans had more penalty mins then time on ice

Ivanans was awful as a player. Dude was huge but not really a great fighter either.

I still Nolan was the best Kings fighter in this decade. MacD a close second.
