Absolutely, all the time.

We would eventually lose all our pucks on the bras dor lake in the snow banks when a puck would go awry and we had to improvise...................the frozen cod fish heads got pushed into service on a regular basis.

Yeah, I learned to play hockey with flat bladed wooden sticks, which were great. Composite makes everything but your crosscheck better but oftentimes doesn’t feel right. I now use the cheaper composite sticks because they are usually heavier and feel more like what I grew up with.

Agreed.....that first pass was attempted when the Czech defender was already sprawling. That has to be a shot even if the angle is terrible
