They had a slowmotion replay on swedish tv that showed that he acted one is own, .
 
That was a bad slash, real bad. FYI, I cant stand the swedish fans that calls Yamamoto out right there, echoing the REALLY BAD swedish commentator. Shows how weak-minded you guys are.

If you find yourself calling for a suspension on that, it's your frustration talking. He milked it. That's fine, but have some dignity for goodness sake. It was a two minute slash and the kid did a flop. No worries either way, it happens.

Don't think so. Canada wasn't able to utilize their speed-game in that outdoor mess, Sweden outskated USA pretty good tonight. Definitely would've preferred to play the Americans, but providing we get by the Czech's we've got ourselves a tougher match-up imo.

Yeah and the complainers are in favour of the team that won. Then you have an issue. 95% of the time it's the losing team complaining. US got very weak calls in their favour, especially considering what wasn't called in the other end of the ice for the half of the game. It didn't help that the US players fell like movie starsalot of the time when there was contact.

The slash at the end was a message, maybe? Now THAT is a penalty where you don't dive.

Missed the slash? What happend? Looked like it hurt bad, hopefully it's not bad for Yamamoto.

Other than that, it's been a gongshow in the third period. What the heck has the refs been up to? Such dives.
 
I need a different and closer look but that was a pathetic sell job by Yamamoto based on what I did see. I never thought I'd be happy to see a USA hockey loss but I witnessed some truly pathetic stuff from our boys and I'm glad to see them lose. This isn't soccer.

Sweden-Canada should be a really good game, Sweden's defense and goaltending are obviously great and I'd be really curious to see if they can slow down Canada's amazing forward depth. It should be a great game to watch. I think Sweden having a lot of professional players, whether it be AHLers or SHLers, may be a big factor in the gold medal game.

IMO USA , SWE and CA are all pretty evenly matched.. US missed their chance to get on the board early and Sweden got stronger as the game went on.. obviously the 2 sh goals on 1 pp were the difference.

I feel like Middlstadt is gonna be one hell of a bust. Feels very selfish and lazy not the type of guy to putting in work to improve
