I'd hope the coach is smart enough to look at how a player does in shootouts

he has to put together a roster of players who do not play together regularly. The last thing on his mind is who has a good shoot out percentage good God. Also what coach is playing to get to a shoot out? None.

Fun game to watch but the ice conditions certainly were a factor. Anyway good win and comeback for the US

Good effort by USA to come back. I don't take much from the game given how odd the situation is with snow and everything, but I must say that the Canadian players and coaches should be embarrassed by their effort when up two goals. Only looked to clear the puck into the snow and wait for the next attack. After this game I would feel pretty confident for Canada if they played USA again in circumstances where speed would actually be a factor, but they really need to consider their effort. Ducharme also needs to figure out which defencemen are his best, because he doesn't know at the moment.

didn't know a shootout loss defines their whole tournament... Canada has looked MILES better than the US this year. I don't think they have anything to worry about. I think the only thing they need to decide is if Point is better than Hart.
