RIP Fugu ϶(°o°)ϵ
USA wins the shootout, but have to think that Canada wins the day. They locked up the group pending a win against Denmark.

Still, nice for the USA to get a moral victory after the clunker against Slovakia.

Doesn’t matter. Canada still wins the group thanks to the OT loss point. But that’s still super embarrassing.

When Slovaks celebrated their win last night, someone in these boards hinted at a small team mentality. Well, USA celebrated just as much today. It's absolutely fine, it's emotion.

This loss is squarely on the shoulders of that complete doorknob Comtois.

Contributes nothing to this team but certainly hurts it....

Win or lose don't like the shootout but we lost. Good game USA. I don't mind losing this one as it should serve as a kick in the pants.

Bad hockey but entertaining typical for the world Juniors.

Hart picking up this year where he left off last year in the shootout.

Only way you can make the shootout more of a joke is when the ice is in that condition (not saying that out of bitterness, just objectively true no matter how it ended).

I get why there’s emotion on both sides, but the game was basically meaningless once it reached OT and it ended in a gimmick. Doesn’t matter, onto the next one.
