The Finns' forwards, especially top6 have looked very slow and/or disinterested. Just cringing while watching

Second goal was on very dumb penalty, fourth was on luukkonen. Those were things and goals you dont let 95 out of 100. We handed those two for Canada, which we dont afford.

After 2, it isnt quite as bad as it looks, werr actually competing it the game. Canada is bit better today but W against them isnt totally ruled off

So I say that there is a rule that in the NHL if the puck in route to the net before knocked off then it it can still be awarded a goal.
I never mentioned anything about who knocked the net off and you say I'm wrong I prove that I am I fact right. Your lack in ability to have an actual conversation without being insulting though is what is actually wrong here.

I know the rule in the NHL is if the puck is already headed in the direction of going in it doesn't matter if the net is dislodged. Must be the same rule for the tournament or it wouldn't of counted.
Here's exactly what you said. It is in fact wrong as it's written. What more needs to be said?

Oh, should there be 20% for FIN? There were legitimate arguments for this to be a tight match, and arguments for FIN offense to be better than the counterpart. There's no surprise there.
I'm not confident Canada can even hold this 4-2 lead. They should close this one out, and I think they have the deeper team on paper for sure, but the Finns have some pretty good weapons that can cause issues.

I think Finland as a whole look not great. Bunch of kids on smaller ice and first game against Canada. Not a shock but also not really something to worry about
Not reading too much into it, but Joulevi is a D+2 player that's a top 10 pick. You expect those guys to dominate.

Yeah, I wouldn't draw too many conclusions from this match for these reasons. We need to do something for the 3rd line though, it's horrendously bad.

Why is this poll result 44% in favor of the Finns? That really might explain a lot about some of the other polls/threads around here if Finnish fans almost outnumber Canadian ones.
Because people expected Finland to better than this? Also the game is 4-2, not 10-0.

I'm guessing Nurmi becomes a factor during this tournament. I have been following him now cuz he's a TPS prospect, and that 4th line has been really noticeable in a good way so far. Excellent backchecking and creative plays.

Some really weird analyzes here. Finnish forward are making turn-overs on the blueline which is the only way Canada has scored (counter attacking). How many times Canada has established a proper cycle? Once? Actually to me it looks like Canada's defensemen are having much harder time containing Finnish forwards on their zone. Finnish defense has been great at stripping the puck from Canadians and it will be even better when Heiskanen, Juolevi and Vaakanainen get their small ring game back.

Clague has been a tire fire in his own end, Batherson needs more ice time and to possibly move up the lineup

My faith in our ability to play in NA ice is pretty low, this game hasn't helped.

When the whole team looks bad it's tough to blame just one player.

Heiskanen can't get his small rink game back, he has never had such a thing.
He's adjusting. But he's also underperforming.
