Lively pitched a better game tonight, nice win from them first to tie it up and then to pull it off in the bottom of the 8th. Pitt had been playing well going into the series.

Tommy Hunter pitched for Reading tonight so he should be getting closer. Having him in the pen will certainly help as long as he's healthy.

Does anyone know a site that has game wrap videos. The Phillies game has been over for hour and a half and they still don’t have wrap video on Phillies/MLB website. Maybe I’m doing something wrong but they make it so hard to get a full game highlight videos. I don’t want to watch 5 individual highlight videos with each having a commercial.

That’s what I don’t get. Rogers Sportnet has hockey recaps usually within 20 minutes of the end of the game. MLBAM is horrible so it only makes sense that Bettman would hire these guys for their website.

Pivetta has been crazy good so far but we'll see when he's tested more. I know Pitt was playing well this year but since their series with the rockies they were hitting under .200. That said it's great to see him get off to such an impressive start as he's getting the K's but keeping the BB's down.

Nice to see Knapp and Altherr get the win after slow starts to the year for them.

They strike out way too much right now.

They are 4th in Ks, but 2nd in BBs. They're actually a little bit of a light hitting ball club, I think they'll get there, but they are 2nd in Runs. Shows what getting on base does.

They aren't hitting so well just yet, seemed to hit into a ton of double plays vs the braves. But as long as Santana gets going to his usual levels, I would think Crawford and Kingery will pick it up along with Altherr and hopefully the catchers get going.

That said the pitching has been the big surprise, Arano, Pivetta, VV, have really surprised so we'll see if that sticks.

After Kapler's visit to Reading the other day where they said he left as soon as Seranthony Dominguez finished pitching and now it sounds like he just got promoted to LV. I wasn't really for the move to the pen but with him being on the 40 man, perhaps he's in philly by Sept.

it is a good one. As long as he pitches as well as I've seen in the past, he can call himself whatever he wants. I know some have said they think he could have a Ken Giles like movement into the majors. Here's to hoping that's true
