Pivetta needs a big rebound game. Eickhoff pitched today in XST and Enyel De Los Santos just pitched another gem today so he has to be getting closer to a call up but he needs to be put on the 40.

Neris had a bad 2 games but he's blown 2 saves since early last June. Neshek would have taken some of the games most likely since Kapler doesn't want defined roles but he had a set back. Hunter didn't have spring training so he's still working to get back to form. Arano was looking like he could see more time but then got injured. SD could be the new closer though if Neris has more troubles, his stuff is sick and they didn't waste time moving him up the ranks after so little time in AA and AAA.

Meanwhile Rios was hitting 97-99 last night, SD isn't close to being the closer, right now he's being auditioned and will be sent back down when some of the walking wounded return.
Though it's very possible that Klentak trades a RP or two in July, it's getting a bit crowded.

SD's a lot better then Rios, he throws hard but not much movement compared to SD who throws about as hard as Rios.

Went to Wrigley for the first time yesterday. Immediately went to the top of my best ballpark list. There is truly nothing like that atmosphere out there.

I have to make it to Fenway to compare now.

This might be a decent team. Nola is a Cy Young candidate. Jake has been good as well as Pivetta. VV was good today. Odubel is on fire and Caesar is hitting the ball well. They have had an easy schedule but I don't think it is like two years ago as their run differential is very good.

And Santana woke up.
Now if someone could just get Alfaro to relax at the plate, so much power, so much overswing.

watched Lakewood tonight, Spencer Howard with another impressive showing. Was sitting mostly 94/95 but hit 96/97 a couple times. That team can't hit for shit but has an impressive group of pitchers.

That's Lakewood every year. Great arms. No bats. Tough place/league to hit in.

Didn't expect Brito to struggle so much repeating the league. He was supposed to rake.

It will be interesting to see what they do now, Neris with a few bad games now and Neshek had a setback so he's likely at least a few weeks away and that's if he doesn't have another set back. They don't have a lefty so they are using Hunter to get lefties. I'd turn to Ramos or SD as both have closed in the minors.

nice win after once again not being able to hit with runners in scoring position. They went with SD and Ramos to close out the game, very interesting.
