He was 26 for 29 last season, before he blew the save they said he had 21 straight saves. His last blown save was June 21st.

I was going to get by with only feelz and no facts. :D

A new hitting drill that phillies hitting coach is doing with Crawford is helping out big time.

He is taking a screen and putting it in the middle of home plate.

When hitting, it forces crawford to keep his hand's litterrally on his chest and stomach as he swings as he does it, the bat will come through and hit the ball. If his hands come off his body the bat will hit the screen.

This hopefully will be an every day thing and he gets muscle memory on where to hit.

This should help him create faster swing and get to balls faster with pop.

Cano does this everyday,

the best ever to play the game Bonds did this.

Word on the street is he's been working on his swing, more Cano-esque.

Edit, found this;

Yeah. I read that the other day.

Still think he's a hair too far off the plate and he'll get pounded away very soon, but so far so good.

I always kind of chuckled when people said he didn't have power. He hit 8 homeruns in the Florida State League as a 19 year old in ~250 ABs and last year he hit 13 over a 2 month span in the International League. He's got a lot of moving parts in his swing and his mechanics get out of whack too often and that has given him problems the last 2 years, but he has enough bat speed to have about league average power. That and ML balls are crazy.

Cousins is destroying balls in Triple A, He just hit another to give pigs 7-3 lead.

He needs to be with phillies.

Cozens needs a full year in AAA, don't get carried away with SSS, he has a lot of flaws in his swing he needs to work on, and the Phillies are struggling to find PT for the guys they have.
When Quinn and Cozens are ready, Klentak will have to play "let's make a deal."

Prospect watch at Clearwater, 14th rd pick Darick Hall has 5 HRs after a big year in Lakewood.
He doesn't turn 22 until summer, so he's not an overage college kid beating up young pitchers like his teammate Listi (24).
Both played together at Dallas Baptist.

The only argument against Bonds is based on some sort of steroids discount. He's the best player anyone alive has ever seen, and he was a 3-time MVP before anyone thinks he did anything remotely illegal.
