Corey Pronman's rankings are out idk if it's recent or not. You can see it on /r/habs I think otherwise it might be paywalled idk

Anyway, he has Dobson at 20 which is terrible.

He explains that he values forwards over defencemen. That's still terrible, though. He did make some rankings that were both controversial, and which I agree with, though. Gustafsson at 22 and SDA at 26. About Pronman, he has his own opinion, and every year he publishes it, and every year people freak out about something. A lot of times he's wrong, which is funny in hindsight, but not worth freaking out about in the moment.

Lol, Drouin at 1. Hahahahaha.

Nichuskin at 4 too.

Spitballing but for 16 euro players not invited to Buffalo I'd say:

Barry
Goose
Ragnarsson
Albin Eriksson
Lenni
Fagemo
Axel
Linus Karlsson
Salmela
Nevasaari
Annunen
Utunen
Westfält
Lindberg
Seppälä

Depends if they're inviting overagers. If they are then Lahtinen, Emanuelsson, and Veini would all probably be there.
Do you happen to know if they invite only players from Sweden or will they bring in players from other countries as well?

Lol @ Hughes declining getting measured because of the "worlds".

Reminds me of Costanza keeping his new Timberlands on all the time because he didn't want people to know he was actually an inch shorter.
I wonder if anyone cheated during the vertical jump, by using those shoes Costanza demonstrated during the "Jimmy" episode?

If we draft Kotkaniemi, do you think the Habs would be tempted to sign him and let him be the first line or seconde line center in Laval under Bouchard? He could adjust to NA ice and style of play and play against men like in Finland.

I thin they will look at that option maybe.

I am not sure it can even be an option since from a few reports, including one by Pat Hickey, he has a contract with Pori and can only play in the NHL or Finland. But Pori seems like a good place for him for the coming year considering the opportunities he gets, including likely playing 1C.

#3 - Kotkaneimi/Dobson
#35 - Tychonick
#38 - Foudy
#56 - Zavgorodny/Khovanov
#62 - O'Brien/McBain
#66 - Merkley
#97 - Nordgren
#102 - Kurashev/Fonstad
#122 - X.Bouchard/Kotkov
#128 - Kondelik

If the Habs can acquire another 1st in a trade draft Dellandrea.

Rasmus Kupari came in at nearly 6'2" 190lbs.

All tools and no toolbox. It's too bad, he has some fantastic wheels and hands for a guy his size. I think he's destined to become a Joel Armia type player. Exciting skillset but lacks high end upside and will be relegated to a 3rd line role.

There is a clear top 10 when looking at concensus rankings. With Farabee and Smith just outside of it but making a clear top 12.
I would also say there is a clear top 3 and top 7.

Yeah That's why I'm asking who you think he has as 11? Or is he just f***ing with us!!??! haha

Way too early to make such declarations IMO. A year from now the narrative could be how much smarter he got.

He is a guy you would take a shot with though with a lower 1st, because if he ever gets directions and picks up a tool box, he will be a terrific player. Epitomy of boom or bust.

I remember guys like Mike Winther dominating the combine.

People gushing over Miller because he's a physical freak but he just makes bad decisions all over the ice and I don't think he's gonna fix them.

thats simply not true, you really have a bad read of the guy.. he does the safe plays most of the times and when he tries something more risky or creative in the off. zone, thats very rarely costy... you see that he is a work in progress, but the fundamentals are there as well as good hockey IQ.

I remember being super high on him and pissed when he went 1 spot ahead of us. Funny how he's now known as more of a defensive specialist.
