In Europe there is a different culture when it comes to sports. Athletes aren't suspended for stuff that happens in their personal life. If they are sentenced, they will not play and the team can terminate their contracts, but they won't be suspended.
Which is why he should probably stay there.

Nils Lundkvist and Luleå play today in game 1 of the semi-finals against Frölunda. Puck-drop is 9 AM EST / 3 PM CET

Watching Nils Lundkvist play, it it is clear to me he's our best D-prospect. Not only does he create offense at this high level, he is incredibly strong on the boards and defends really well in the SHL semi-finals against Frölunda, a top-team in Europe.

If we hit it out of the park at 28...That would be just huge.

Miller could be a very good player so to have another d-man that could potentially be better than him is ridiculous.

Now I kinda want Byram. Imagine going to war with Skjei, Byram, Miller, Nils, Hajek and RDA in couple years time.

Nils will get overlooked a lot because it's not easy to put up points in the SHL as a d-man and that's all some people really look at. I think if he played in the OHL his stats wouldn't look too dissimilar to Boqvist's

It's his defensive game that is most impressive though. The way he ties up guys like Lasch, Lundqvist, Fagemo and Hjalmarsson on different shifts in today's game is crazy for an 18-year old kid.

Nils hasn’t been put in situations to produce offensively for Lulea. Hardly any PP time, usually none at all, less talents forwards who’s primarily responsibilities also being solid defensively.

The same was true about Rykov until he started getting offensive opportunities toward the end of season, and not coincidentally, started to produce.
