The 8th pick would've been perfect.. at 8 you can have someone fall. I mean I guess for 9 as well but it would've worked out better at 8th.

Wahlstrom or hughes. Of course like Pattersson last year they will be gone a pick or two before we pick at 9 so hopefully Dobson or bouchard. Gotta go safe and I guess hope someone with serious raw offensive talent is there at 25ish

How do you not show it? It is why everyone assumes that there is a corrupt system.

Because counting down to pick #1 is much more exciting.

More likely they pick Dahlin and trade one of their young D they already have for a top C.

I don't see them getting a sure fire young #1 C for any of those guys, or at least one of the guys they'd be willing to move.

I could see Montreal moving if they get the #3. ZBad and one of their later firsts?

Like others have said the nightmare scenarios of the Isles winning at least one, if not two lottery spots, and the Oilers getting a lottery spot when they dropped one point behind us were averted. I liked being at 8. Let's hope a player or two that the Rangers like drop into our laps.

I guess I don't understand how you invest so much time in something you think the outcomes are already decided on. Like, I get that adults use wrestling as basically a male driven soap. Is that what teh NHL is for you? That's cool if it is.

They later put out video of the actual drawing. You can look up a few of the past lotteries.

But the issue is you laughing and mocking those upset that we didn’t get into the top 3, i’m sure Philly didn’t expect to get into the top 3 last year but they did. Should they have not been happy cause they made it there? Any team that doesn’t make the playoffs have a shot at #1-3 so yes be excited and look forward to it. Disappointment in this case doesn’t mean stupid, however your reaction does indicate ****.

No. Only 8 players declared for the NHL draft htis year. The NHL knew this, and said, well shit, now the Rangers have to pick 9th.

After 8 picks, the draft is over.

Friedman polled some scouts the other day and they said there was a drop off after 9, so there's the optimistic side of the coin.

One will fall past 7 I think, but Chicago will likely take either one of them. Unless the Rangers can package the 9th pick + 2nd round for pick 5-7ov

I clicked my heels three times, went to church and prayed, donated my hard earned money to a needy foundation, and helped an old lady cross the street.

And none of those good deeds were rewarded by the hockey gods.
