I actually have Chytil at 79 games played. 55 with NYR/HFD, 10 with the senior national team, and 14 with the U20 national team. The discrepancy is the 4-Nations U20 games he played and some other random games all the way back in July against Switzerland and Finland. It also doesn't include any preseason or exhibition stuff. He's played a lot. Necas I have around 44. It's tough to be totally accurate since a lot of the national team stuff isn't really reported on and is only partially tracked. Eurohockey does a better job than Eliteprospects at listing the random stuff.

Good to see Andersson and Mika getting some bro-time beyond the short stint they shared in NY. Might help Andersson feel a bit more comfortable off the bat next year.

Have to taper expectations with Chytill a little bit. He's way too young to really make a huge impact playing against pros right now... the fact that he even made the team more than enough.
I do hope he's just tired, because consistency has been an issue for him thus far. Again though, he's 18.

Not that I expect that result to hold, and not that this tournament is that big of a deal, but Korea over USA would probably be the biggest upset in the history of international competition.

On my way to the airport now. Flying to Copenhagen in 2 hours. Sweden vs Switzerland will be the last hockey game I attend this season.

DLR and Everberg has scored a goal today. Kempe has played well.
Elias Petersson hasn’t made one right play all night. He get a puck, wait for the D to shield it and turn away but the bigger Slovak Ds are hammering him against the boards. He almost scored a highlight goal through his legs.
Lias has also played well. Think Lias is on the outside looking in right now.
