Bruins look to have settled in with the 2 goals in their pocket and took the play to the Leafs toward the end of the period.

End of 20, Bruins lead 2-1.

That third Bruins goal was a dandy. Exactly like you would draw up and play and execute it in practice. They took advantage of a forward trying to play defense on a 2-on-2.

Herman, eh.

I mean... they already have a thread with a poll asking Canadians if they'll cheer for the Leafs.
Much like the Kings were Canada's team in the first round of 2012, I wouldn't be surprised if the Bruins are currently the #1 team in Canada.

Reactions: King'sPawn
Erik Karlsson is looking rough. Curious to see who is going to take a big chance at signing him to a ridiculous contract this summer.

Really sad to see because he was such a special player, but Karlsson just doesn't look the same anymore, he was a Top 5 player in the world for a good 5-6 years (could argue maybe the best for a couple of them) but he just doesn't dominate the game like he once did. I thought giving Doughty all that term was a mistake, I think whoever does it with Karlsson this summer will be making the same mistake. Atleast with DD and Kopitar the Kings were paying for accomplishments the player had with the team, whoever pays EK this summer will have not have any of that (he ain't going back to Ottawa).

Just proves more and more this is a game for players in their 20's and once a guy gets to his late 20's you have to really really be careful.

Sure didn't hurt the 2012 Kings, obviously that's just one case and you may very well be right.

Then again, they played the maximum number of games to get to a final in 2014, so who knows.
The more I look at those runs in 2012 and 2014, the more bizarre they appear.
