They’re three years older and less of a threat. Vegas on the other hand went to the finals last year and added an entire second line.

God I hate both teams. I have a small soft spot for the sharks since I used to work for them, but I just really don't want them to win. But man the Knights are annoying as ****. My fear is that who ever comes out on top of this series will go back to the finals.

Trading for Lucic was not taking a risk. Holding on to Mike Richards was not a risk. Re-signing Gaborik to a seeetheart retirement deal was not taking a risk. Signing a 35 year old Kovalchuk to a retirement contract was not a risk. This was poor management through and through. It’s amazing how incapable you are of just admitting the Kings have been poorly managed since 2014.

The Bruins won a championship, retooled correctly, and went right back to contention. The Kings won two championships, did not retool correctly, and just had their worst record in a decade.

Why is any of this controversial to you? You’re really criticizing me for wishing the Lombardi regime had properly retooled after 2014?

Yes I am criticizing you for hoping that Dean Lombardi blew up a team that literally just won a f***ing Stanley Cup. That is just hindsight bullshit, but if you think the Kings will be shit anyways for a long time, why not just follow the Bruins who retooled correctly into a couple of first round series wins for a while? Probably be better than complaining about shit that has already happened.
