Were all the prospects there as well? Timmins isn't a regular. Hopefully it means nothing.

I stopped by one day as well for a brief look and I believe Calvert was wearing the number #15. Also, he is really small if that was him. Him and Warsofsky were the two shortest blokes from what I saw.

Who wore #42 or #43 last year? Because if I remember wasn't it Boikov? Whoever it was that wore the number, he was skating out there with the group.

It's pretty much only the rookies. Timmins was there a week or so ago but has been missing all week.

Calvert is wearing 11. Shyvyrov is 43.

I like that he kept it. Avs could use some of that old #11 mojo.

surprised how few votes Calvert got in this poll. He will be a fan favourite 10 games in. Love that we got him
As much of a fan favourite he might become, it's a hell of a lot more exciting with getting a potential #1 goalie, a recent 1st round draft pick, and a highly touted D prospect.

Fair enough, but IMO he will have a larger impact on this team next year than any of those three. Grubs might be close, but I expect Varly to take many of the starts.

Was really hoping an unknown prospect with an F last name (Forsberg would be nice) would pole-vault onto the scene and play with (M)ack and (R)ant so every time they hit the ice or scored the soundteam could use this:

Could definitely see Zadorov averaging 22 minutes a game this year if he is in great shape right from the start.

Bernier
Comeau
Yakupov

Grubauer

Calvert

On paper the team is slightly improved with the personnel changes. Add all the rookies from last season having room to improve. Still, the problem from last year with a weak/inexperienced middle six remains.
