Can probably chalk that up to playing loose since their season was already over at that point. It's a lot easier to play with no expectations which is why we always see those non-playoff teams go on late runs and play spoiler.

IMO its not even worth discussing. Such a small sample size could mean a hot stretch for goalie or just pretty inept opponents.

For example hexys lip service about pk getting better was literally Alex Lyon dragging our sv% out off the basement in his 29 shorthaned minutes at the end of the season.

But you know Lappy works harder than anyone else lol.

Vorobyev has the size, instincts and willingness to play defense to be a two way center.
Why would you want him to just focus on offense, especially in a bottom six role where you also hope he can contribute on the PK?

I think Weal will get first shot at 3C, and if he falters, Vorobyev comes up after playing a top six role in LHV for a couple months. You want a playmaker between Lindblom and Simmonds.

His defense isn’t a knock. It never was. His scoring has been a knock. The phantoms and developmental coaches should be working on improving that. Really, every team he’s played with he’s had that defensive attribute to his game.

I may be interpreting your post wrong, but I think you took it as I think he doesn’t have that ability? I’m not sure. Regardless, one of his raw abilities is his playmaking ability. That will be his best attribute at the NHL level.
