If we make it to the second Rd .
We could see Korshkov in the Marlies lineup.
Khl ends deal ends April 30.

That would be nice. If we could get Jooris down to the 4th line with Baptiste and MacMaster, and have Korshkov play with Engvall and Greening on the 3rd line, we'd have a bit more depth. Sorry Conrad, but we can do better right now. Same with MacMaster, but I'll take what I can get.

just a heads up that you should be able to watch all of the marlies playoff games on the leafs app (not that anyone will be watching today since they play at the same time)

Jeremy Bracco OT winner. Drags it cross ice to his backhand and goes top shelf. Amerks goalie was out of the play looked like his own dman ran into him with assistance of the Marlies player. Either way, Marlies up 2-0 in the series going home for the next two games.

It was an absolute beauty of a goal

Keefe played Hollowell and Duzak. I didn't see that coming but they played well according to Mark, especially Hollowell.

I saw Hollowell in the highlights on the 2nd Bracco goal and did a bit of a double take, I didn't think he'd dress for the Marlies this season

Good to see those young defenseman logging ice time in the playoffs though

It's a great way to develop those kids

Too close to Ottawa and Montreal
Yeah, for whatever reason (Leafs) both Sandin and Liljegren are completely overlooked on this board (Leafs) and people just either forget they exist (Leafs), or they just believe their "issues" (Leafs) will prevent them from being anything significant in the NHL.

Both are probably Top-10 defensive prospects in the league today.

I think the Leafs have learned a lesson, over hyping prospects serves no purpose but selling hope to the fan base. Toronto doesn’t have to sell season tickets or suites on the “pipeline is full” scenario.Undersell and low key everyone not with the top team is a great policy leads to surprises like Dermott. Even though anyone who watched a dozen Marlie games knew what he was.

I was surprised too. Keefe probably is focusing more on development which is a good thing.

Goalies have been the difference. Wedgewood has sucked, Kaskisuo has been simply amazing. Best hockey of his year, and showing why he looked like he could be a top AHL starter last year. If he keeps this up, we could make a pretty deep run.

Yeah watching the highlights we gave up a bit which isn't a surprise if you look at the ages of the kids on the blue line but KK really held down the fort behind them

Sandin easily would be a top-10 defensive prospect. There is simply no reason (other than Leafs) to have Liljegren anywhere near the top-10, or even top 20. He is intelligent. He is skilled. He is great at moving the puck. His defensive game and physical game are better than it was believed when he was drafted. But his production is crap, and he hasn't been improving. Now that Hollowell is playing for the Marlies in the playoffs I wouldn't be surprised if he quickly passes Liljegren.
