#2 has been worn by several tough Kings defenseman.

Now is definitely not one of those times.

LaDue and Fantenberg should both have to wear training camp numbers like #67 or something. It's cute that LaDue can get comfortable after another garbage camp.

As for freaking out about MacDermid, I'm sure Regulate and other Ontario faithful are happy to have him back. I'm happy he's still in the organization and would have been bummed if he was claimed. I think we all know the #7 D spot isn't going to make or break this season but some of us have guys we really like so, yeah, we don't want to risk losing them in favor of someone else that will also not make or break the team while providing next to zero entertainment value.

I'm sure LaDue will take plenty of bodychecks. As far as throwing body checks goes... I wouldn't hold my breath.

I learned from looking at the roster guides every year and seeing how big guys like Jaroslav Modry and Joe Corvo were listed as being, and then seeing how soft they were on the ice.
