You guys do realize Forbort is playing with Doughty because that's what Doughty wanted.....right?

Based on the less than 5 games of professional hockey Brickley has played? I have a future superstar in Chris Kontos I would love to sell to you.Yeah Doughty said "handicap me" and they gave him Forbort.
In all seriousness, the ideal pairing for Doughty is undoubtedly Brickley.

Dont get me wrong I love the potential of Brickley and he looks good but he could be Joe Piskula for all we know.
Hey, hey, hey Kontos almost won a Connie in the first round of the playoffs!!Based on the less than 5 games of professional hockey Brickley has played? I have a future superstar in Chris Kontos I would love to sell to you.

Will it finally be time to trade Jeff Carter this season if the Kings are having another also-ran year? It's going to take drafting for offense and transition players for the next five years to turn over. That's what it takes for a wholesale organization change. Not a couple mid level NHL players like Iaffalo etc.
I am talking hitting home runs in the 1-2nd rounds consistently.

I can't find it but I remember reading an article on questions for one of the Kings management and they talked about Brickley being Forbort's replacement. That having Brickley gives them the option to trade a guy like Forbort if they find a trade that makes the team better
As expected
The negativity on this board since 2012 exceeds the negativity from 2006-2011. Mind blowing really.Holy hell it's a good thing a lot of you guys have zero input in player personnel choices, Kings are icing a solid, deep team this year, when you have Toffoli and Pearosn on the 3rd line wings, that's a deep team, they are putting Kempe in a position to succeed on the wing, like all of you wanted, and yet, you guys still ***** and whine.... It's a much deeper team than last year, and the year before, but based on pre-season, where no on one the ice cares about winning, it's about getting timing back, back into game shape, for younger players or bubble players, it's about making the roster, based on that, we are back to doom and gloom ffs....business as usual it seems.
but we only had one win in preseason when no one else cared about winning. I predict we go 0-82.....if we win a game, it's over for all of ya'll!
Bummer with Kurtis MacD. Great teammate and showed a lot of improvement.
If they lose him, it makes the Kings a lot softer especially on the back end. There are too many d men of the same pedigree back there...Clague, Brickley, Fantenberg. I know the league is changing to faster but you have to have one guy at least who is filling to clear the front and punish big forwards. For now, that is Phaneuf.
Clifford is tough, but can’t take on the Reaves of the world.

I feel like teams would rather go for McIlrath or Witkowski. Right handed shots>LeftiesHope he clears but wont be shocked to see a claim.
