The information being passed along was based on what management is saying per doctor evaluations. My comment was with respect to you and others claiming that simply because Gaborik was out in the sun playing with his girlfriend that you guys are some how social media doctors and can clearly rebut what management is passing along.

If you want to "speculate" that he may return earlier than anticipated based on photos, that's fine, have at it. It's a message board and people speculate all the time. Its when you go off calling others "mouthpieces for Rosen" simply because they are relying on whatever the recent report was from management that ruffles peoples feathers.

I didn't call anyone a mouthpiece for Rosen, though he definitely is a mouthpiece for the organization though and an extension of their media relations.

As for Gaborik's social media adventures, I was actually encouraged to see how dedicated he was in getting himself back into game shape. It's also no different when people go on social media and suggest a player may be hurt because he had a cast on or appeared to walk with a limp.

Based on the breakdown of the groups in training camp, here's my guess as to how the lines/pairings will look like, give or take some changes due to a shortage of right wings in camp (and boy does the forward depth suck).

Never played together but definitely against each other as kids. They both skate at the Ice Station in the off-season. I've done some stick times with them this summer. Very fun

I went out of my way to acquire Kevan Miller in my keeper league. I think the other GM was puzzled why I was so interested in Miller rather than his other D.

Flashback to my sophomore year of college circa 2000 and I was watching an episode of NHL Cool Shots which emanated from a brand new Ice Station in Valencia. I nearly threw the remote at the TV. Of course they built a rink 10 minutes from my house after I leave.

Every off season the lines the coaches have picked have stayed together , I know he was predicting a lineup but I sure hope that's not our 3rd line. When coaches group players together usually the lines are picked somewhat in their heads already , hence why Pearson , Carter , Toffoli are paired together. The interesting one is Fantenberg possibly being in our top 6.

most likely that Clifford line is going to be our 4th line not 3rd as much as i think they would work better with more ice time.

Looks like the split squad game went 1-4 and 2-3 for the top two lines to try to even out the squad strengths.

It's early. I wouldn't read too much into it.

I am pretty excited to see what Chris Lee can bring to the team. Based on his KHL numbers, it would be fantastic to have him on our bottom pair to be used for powerplays and offensive zone draws. If we can't get a real top 6 winger, maybe the defense can contribute offensively.
