All kidding aside people should stop looking at the stats for a moment and look at the kid play. I think he has size and vision. If his skating is any good he could be a legit player.

You guys wanted draft picks. You wanted to tank for top 10 picks. Gorton got you a top 10 pick. Give the kid a chance.

His skating is one of his best attributes. Skating ability has been a huge evaluating factor for Rangers drafting and scouting the past 4-5 years.

Moments like these really show you who knows what they're talking about. If you're annoyed, if you feel there were players there we should've taken instead, that's VERY understandable.

But the reasoning for why very specific people are mad is soooo dumb. Being right about whether he'll be the best pick or whether he was a bad pick doesn't show if you know what you're talking about. Your reasoning behind your feeling does.
