I really dislike the shootout in a game like this. If they can't finish it in 10min of 4 on 4 they should just continue on or go 3 on 3. This game is too good to end with a shootout

Never thought I'd say this but Nathan Mackinnon needs to watch how these Russian kids take the puck to the net.

Based on this game this Russian team is as gritty as the Tarasenko Russian team.

Sergachev was a beast in the 3rd.

Why would the Russian coach not have already discussed with his captain what option to go with if they win the coin toss lol. That was a big decision for that kid who obviously had no idea which option was better.

Yeah, I was watching a Russian broadcast and was really surprised to see it go on.

Those guys, by the way, even though I don't know what exactly they were saying, went full Mike Haynes when Russia lost. Score.
