I would prefer to go with the WHC-team despite we will most likly lose every game, but that will not be the case.

Sadly I do not think anyone was really that good in whc. Not in the big games anyway. Larsson was great against kazakstan, but not as good today. Nyquist didnt show up against canada or russia in the same way he did before. If he had he would have been a lock. You can ignore that and take them anyway because they at least show up, and maybe they preform better with better player around them.

Today I actually would say Klasen was our best player, he at least felt dangerous when he had the puck. Which I can not say about many others.

Klingberg have had a bad end of the season, or not bad but not as good, but overall he has been one of the best d-men in the league this season and he he was hands down by far our best player in the big games last year in whc. I think his "bad" ending of this season has to do with him coming back from injury, so rulling him out just because he hasnt been himself at the end of the season could be a mistake. I still think he is the best option for the last d-men spot.

Hedman is a monster in the playoffs, hope he show same potential for team Sweden!

He will. Especially on NA ice. The Swedish D is absolutely stacked, I'm calling it now that it will be a Sweden v Canada final.

Stacked if players show up, that is.

Sweden plays Russia, Finland, NA Young Gunz in round robin.

The Swedish D >>> all other countries in your pool. You'll crush your group and go 3-0.

Sweden wins their pool. Canada wins our pool and it will be Sweden v Canada final. True hockey fans know how good Swedens "A" team is. That D is 1a and 1b with Canada. On NA ice, that will be the difference.

I'm calling it now, it will be Sweden v Canada for the Championship in Toronto.

Finland have us beat on every position, excluding rookies, ofc

Uh...what? :)

Sweden was a disgrace in the WC.

The ones rejecting invitations more so than the ones who actually showed up (and sucked).

I honestly don't even care where Sweden places in the world cup. Not just because of it being a joke tourny, but also the lack of loyalty from all our so called stars.

I didnt think I had to add a :sarcasm:

Hedman - Strålman
Karlsson - Hjalmarsson
OEL - Lindholm

And Kronwall in the hotel room drinking whiskey.

That's a world class defense.

:yo:

The defensive didnt become better when we switch Klingberg for Larsson, it become a lot worse. Klingberg is so underrated defensivly, much better defensivly than Larsson. Larsson is more physical, but that is not what defensive is only about. Klingberg is faster, more agile, smarter and more active with his stick and safer with the puck.

Yeah, Hedman-Strålman will be eating minutes against the other teams top lines.

I think most team will have more than just one line to worried about, so no point in focus on top lines.

Klingberg is not better then Larsson defensivly, noway. But he is good defensivily and still learning.
