I didn't know where to post this so I put it here, but man it's only been one game and I miss John Forslund calling the game. You guys are very fortunate to have him calling all your games.

He is a national treasure. If NHL teams were as good as their announcers, we would probably have another Cup right now.

Wow Tampa deserves a ton of credit for this run. Did not see this coming but this is why I think the NHL is the most exciting league in sports.

Quick ?, anyone else find Bob Cole to be overrated as hell? I'm amazed at how many people think he's the best in the business, I get annoyed whenever I'm searching old hockey highlights on YT and I come across Bob Cole calling the action.

After Joe Thornton's thousand yard stare after game 7 in 2014, seeing him lift the Cup would be pretty cool.

He used to be pretty good back in the 80s and early 90s. But it's been a long, slow downward spiral.

Chris Cuthbert is fantastic. I find both Doc Emrick and John Forslund to be good, but both use too many of their "own" sayings rather than just straight call the game. It gets a little much IMO.

I hate seeing Pittsburgh when too. TBL with a whopping 11 shots on goal through 2 periods. I felt like I was watching the Hurricanes throw away a playoff chance. They really had everything going for them, momentum, home ice advantage.

Man, that turnover to Crosby just said it all, although he's freakishly good at making your defense look like senior citizens in line at Walgreens.

I would like to see goals reviewed and disallowed if they "just feel wrong".
I thought that's what they already did to Tampa last night? I mean, all the angles I saw the most that could be said is it was inconclusive whether or not the right skate was still touching the blue line or completely over (forget about the left skate entirely)...pretty much set the tone for the game right there.

Thornton and Burns will defeat Team Rutherford with their epic beard powers.

(Or maybe the Pens will just choke on home ice in game 7)

I remember watching a retaping of the 2006 finals on FS South after Game 7. It was the CBC feed. Cole was struggling to keep up with the game, and therefore viewers were treated to "He brings the puck into the zone, pass, and it goes out of play" "Heres the player with the puck, he goes around the net and pushed down, the crowd don't like that, and..... penalty coming up". Anyone with the Championship DVD might notice the commentary from him just seems, off. And yet everyone in Canada thinks he should be broadcasting forever :dunno:

San Jose is so close to winning the West.
