Theo is one of the best executives in the game, but that's nothin new. It took him 4 years to completely turn a bottom feeder into a juggernaut. There is a reason this second 5 year deal with the Cubs guarantees him 31.5m more than the first one.

If we don't win, I wish that the Cubs finally beat their curse, it's about time.

While I am not panicking, if you don't win this one you have henry owens pitching tomorrow and then the blue jays come to town

What is Girardi doing? One of his intentional walks has already scored and one is in scoring position. You can't just give up that many base runners in a close game.

Clay was exceptional tonight. Do you go with him or ERod as your #3 in the playoffs?

Does it matter that much? I mean in the ALDS. Both would definitely only get 1 start max. If it's the ALCS then it becomes a legit question, because everyone is supposed to pitch twice except the game 4 starter.

No matter what, I like our rotation against anyone. They have been nothing less than exceptional after the ASB.

The one that scored was ortiz. I'm not gonna get on him for that. First base open, i don't see the issue.

They've been great.

I'm not as down on Price as most here are. He was awful last night, but hes been great since the ASB. Even the bullpen has been solid as of late.

This team should at worst make the WS. I'd be disappointed if they didn't.

Well, to be honest, I think the Sox and Jays are the best teams in baseball, especially with half of the Indians rotation being injured. But against Toronto I would expect a dogfight.

Price is Price, when he is not on, he puts up some terrible numbers, but when he's on - which will happen at some point in the playoffs - he gives up nothing while going very deep.
The P question will decide how we fare in the post-season. Porcello and Price have to be THE guys.
