The MRI was done after he was traded. The Padres lied and the Sox have had to try and manage his injury on the fly

You can still nullify trades after the fact if teams lie about medical records. Last I read the Sox tried to get a prospect but were told no and decided not to pursue it further.

Oh and can someone explain how it "wasn't done intentionally" or "wasn't malicious" as the Padres GM said? Isn't him saying that just lying on top of a lie? Is there any way it's not?

I know we complain around here all the time about Sweeney and his "compatriots" and their decisions, but that Padres FO is starting to look frighteningly unprofessional.
