So I asked 3 questions and none were answered.

You keep claiming ridiculous straw man theory when I am clearly using his own words in those questions.

He wants him in the NHL, playing with a rental team, claiming he would develop better there when it has been said by Babcock himself "the NHL isn't a development league" are you saying Babcock is wrong?

Nylander is good enough to play in the lineup, but our line up is horrible.. He wants to play Center and hasn't yet at the NA level so he is being "developed" in the AHL with quality minutes and he is thriving from it... It is happening because it is the best route for him.. Now is any of that wrong or are you going to claim straw man again.?

So again.. I say Zeke's opinion on Nylander development is wrong and the management group agrees SO if you are saying my "hockey knowledge" is wrong when I based it off trust through our professional management team then who's word holds more meret?

Loov is a stay at home Dmen and is plating fine.. Because he is developing and again management sees a future for him.

This entire post is a red herring to distract from your obvious strawmanning and insults.

I'm so done with you. You don't even know how to have a conversation. I've been on this forum for almost a decade and you are now just the second person to make my ignore list. I've seen worse, but most of them at least offered entertainment value. You just ruin every discussion you enter with fallacy after fallacy.

There was an argument over who played against the top lines.. I said I heard the commentators say Bozak was playing up against Oshies line so he must of had the top match up.. This was after it was joked that the commentator called Backes Oshie. If you have the game PVRd watch it for yourself. Bringing up a joke that goes over your head here when we are debating Nylander and Loov shows your Lack of discussions, if you aren't bringing anything to this subject then you shouldn't be involved at all.

Wrong! Everything you just wrote literally has no meaning. There was no joke. You claim that people have reading comprehension problems yet you quote my post and bring up Nylander when I was actually discussing Loov the whole time. I haven't mentioned Nylander for a while because to me it's not even a discussion. It really doesn't matter what the Leafs do with him because he is an NHL player. I just prefer to see him win the Calder Cup and win the scoring title.

Anyways, I'm going the Joey Hoser route because you don't bring anything of worth to this forum.

I"m of the opinion that there are gloms and gloms of players over in Europe who would be able to play a fill-in role at the NHL level, eg: bottom pairing D, or forward specialist. They just got bumped for one circumstance or another in favor of another similarly skilled player.

I do love the Loov, but he, like Granberg, or Nilsson etc, is not high up enough on the chart to separate himself. ... though i'd easily take him over the other two, and Granberg is currently in the NHL. Nilsson might have made it but he screwed his own career up by fleeing back to Europe on his own. I hope Loov makes it, because i want what he brings, which is a reliable, punishing presence on the back end for 15 minutes a night with a well above average first pass ability... but if not, he will no doubt still have a long successful career in Europe.

So again... I asked 3 questions that went unanswered.

3 arguments Zeke had that went against what management felt (along with myself)was better for Nylander..

And so his claim Loov isn't AHL worthy along with his history of trying to push for Nylander to play in this embarrassing year lead me to believe his hockey knowledge was off.. Now did I call him stupid? No, me thinking someone lacks hockey knowledge based on there assessment against the professionals thinking isn't much of an insult but an opinion.

But I'd be happy to be added to your ignore list.. I ask you question to try to discuss your disagreement and you haven't made any effort other than "your wrong" even after that was exactly what you claimed I did with Zeke but came back with my reasoning behind it.

Peace out dude.

OK so you don't get sarcasm.. You must be fun at party's.

You came here with that as your only bullet and instead I read it scratching my head..

So you agree that Loov isn't AHL worthy? And I do.. So when he eventually cracks the line up what will you say then?

It's too early to compare, but right now Marner is looking better.

I was a huge fan of Marner, but after that performance against Finland, I began to like him even more. I could watch that 2nd goal all day!

I really thought Marner elevated his game to another level when it mattered most at the WJC this year. I know he took a daft penalty at the end, but it just seemed to like he was the go-to player at the end of the Finland game.

Im sure the comparisons between Marner and Strome will always continue, right or wrong, but I would be happy with either player.

I went to one Marlies game this year only (so far), and Loov was easily the best player on the ice then (Nylander and Brown were not playing). He looked like almost an NHL ready defenseman to me. I guess it was just a one game sample then.

Yes, surprised some have been slagging him. Everything I have read/heard about Loov is that he's been good with the Marlies this year. Numbers are down, but focusing more on playing better D and making better decisions.

De La Rose is terrible. If there was that extreme of a difference between De La Rose and Lindberg, Lindberg wouldn't be in the AHL; he'd be floundering in the ECHL, in all likelihood.

Yeah De La Rose is nothing special. If anything I would say a bigger gap between Kempe and Lindberg.

Whoo Marner is way to low. What have Provorhov, and Conner done to be ranked ahead of him. Dvorak should be behind him aswell. The top 3 should be Marner, Strome Nylander in any order.

Connor has had a great year in the NCAA.

Provorov is an animal but i agree forsure marner should be ahead of Dvorak.

How can one place Strome at #2 and Marner at #6 at this point?

Weird.

No idea.. Marner is also beating out Strome in points in the OHL (not a reason to be better but proof it should be a lot closer than that).

Button has a long history of going out on limbs, and he doesn't have a high success rate with them.

Largely because he usually does his lists himself, while lists from places like Bob, HockeyNews, etc. are usually made based on the consensus of scouts, so any outliers get watered down.

Button has a huge man crush on Strome, u could clearly see that during the WJC a few months ago, where he praised Strome on a normal dump in.
Marner should be in the top three if not the 2nd spot behind Willie. Tima and Kapanen should be on that list too.

I can understand Strome in front of Marner. Wouldn't have Marner way down at 6, but can understand having Strome ahead of him. No problem with Strome at 2.
