I don't have high expectations for that top line but I'm not near as gloom and doom as everyone else.

I don't mind Kopitar between those two. Whatever gets/keeps him shooting more and being more assertive is good. Between Brown and Setoguchi, he can't defer to anyone. If I could, I'd put him between Clifford and Nolan.

Well guys, hockey season is finally around the corner and I am stoked as all get out. It's our Kings, baby. Our two time champion Kings.
It's gonna be amazing to see our champs playing some hockey -- and taking the redline down to DTLA to catch my yearly 4 or 5 games with my little one will be amazing as it always is.
Are we a player? Who knows. We've scored some decent goals this preseason, but we've given up some. I'm confounded that we don't have Gravel in the top 7 but so it goes. Quick and our D will be solid, as Sutters system covers D deficiencies as well as any coaching scheme in the NHL can.
Our team is lacking top end talent because of our two cups. But boo wah wah hoo, we have two cups, and if Dean and Sutter are like the Jedi (Belichick) then they will find a way to build this franchise back up as a player in the Western Conference.
And hell to the yeah, Zankou Chicken is bomdocious.
I will be all over this board this season, my MLB team is crap, my NFL team is schitzo, sorry to y'all that I offend ahead of time. Debbie downers, once this season starts, watch out. I will be after ye, as I love our team and the two championships we have recently fought for and won buys a whole hell of a lot of graciousness (from me).
So stoked. My post count will sky rocket. I will fend off the downers. When we win championships the koolaid flows, as it should. I have too much pain from my other franchises being inept. This franchise is not enept I don't know where I'm going here, but humor me.

Only reason for a 2-way would be he could be a bonus eligible player. Not sure if he spent time on IR under his last contract in his last year.
Otherwise pay him 950K and he wouldn't count if he went down anyway.

The cap in the NHL is as much a part of the team as any player. No other sport has to integrate and gameplan around the cap as much as the NHL does. It's unreal. (Yes, I know why).

Even though Versteeg wouldn't count if sent down at league min can't complain about this deal for this player.
If he is still viable and can contribute this will be a monster deal for us.
Giving us just a little more flexibility under the cap for later.

It's called reality. I have no clue what your expectations are, but this team is not any better than last season's squad.
Setoguchi could have a solid season and force a guy like Andreoff or Nolan out of the line-up when Gaborik comes back OR he could have a total meltdown and stink and end up in Ontario.
