http://whl.ca/article/whl-announces-2016-17-conference-all-star-teams

Zborovsky was named to the WHL Eastern Conference Second All-Star Team.

So he's a top-8 defenceman in the league. Hard to say how much of that is due to being on the best team in the WHL this year, but from my viewings he looks to be a solid shutdown guy.

Wouldn't it be top-4? And take notice of 3 Regina Pats on the first All Star team. Still he got these honors, played on team Russia in WJC, got highest +/- ratio in all CHL, all good accomplishments. Let's see what he and Pats can do in playoffs and then next year at pros to look forward to.

They announce separate all-star teams for both conferences in the WHL.

It's driving me crazy that I can't watch this Flint vs Soo playoff game. Radio only for me. Soo up 2-0 after 1. Gettinger not on the ice for either goal.

Five CHL playoff games tonight that involve our guys. Puck drop times are pretty well staggered, too ... which'll offer a very full night of hockey. I pray for streams. :crossfing

Some good news is that Brad Morrison is back after missing nine games with an upper-ankle sprain. I'll tell ya, the Prince George series should be one to watch. Prince George may be a #3 seed, but Portland is good as ****. Plenty of talent, and finished up the season red hot. I'm actually concerned for Prince George's safety, lol. They may not survive the first round.

Rouyn was losing 5-2 last in the 3rd, but just scored 2 goals in 26 seconds to make it 5-4. Fontaine assisted on the last goal. Time is running out, but there's a chance at least.

I said yesterday that Morrison was back from an upper ankle sprain, but he's not playing tonight. The article I read said he was healthy, so I don't know what's going on.
