Wow, if Toronto loses tomorrow it starts getting really interesting...

Yeah it does.

Columbus vs Toronto
Buffalo vs Tampa

Tampa win in regulation or OT - Toronto has to win
Tampa win in S/O - Toronto has to get a point

:naughty:
Yes, If they win out they hold the tiebreaker on both teams as they can get 39 ROW.

They play the devils and then Ottawa.

Good chance they could win tommorow ,if Leafs loose it will make for an some interesting games on Sunday. Please Please.

I watched the 3rd period and the OT and was thoroughly entertained. Glad it didn't go to the SO.

Nice block by Knight to start the rush and a great shot to end it.

The rivalry is outstanding with these two teams. They never disappoint as shown again in this one. Epic battles over the years. The USA prevails more often in the World's while Canada prevails in the Olympics and seemingly always on OT. The rivalry is on par with the Canada - USA world junior teams over the years. They also never seem to disappoint in their head to head battles. Fun stuff to watch.

For those who do not get the opportunity to see the womens play, the pace of play and skill level is terrific. Goaltending in particular in this one was outstanding. The better, and perhaps deeper, team prevailed but were pushed to secure the victory. The snipe goals top shelf for Augusta and Knight (bar down on the winner) in this one were simply outstanding. :handclap:

Fun fact:
Canada's Goaltender, Shannon Szabados, played in the mens Southern league (Bruins are affiliated with the Atlanta team) for 4 years amd appeared in over 50 games as a starter. An NHL who is comparable in style would be Jonathan Quick. She has the lightening quick legs much like him.

Bring on the next one already!

EDIT: TSN recap of the game also includes take on the USA labour issues and the two teams history in head to head championship games.

Borowiecki is rapidly becoming one of my least favorite players. Looks like he kneed one of the Rangers. Glass ended up fighting him.

Chippy game. Burrows and Smith hacked at each other in front of the net, Burrows looked like more of a spear. Announcers, on replay: "it wasn't as bad as Marchand." :shakehead

Other than the altercations, I've barely been watching...

Sens up 2-0. WTF, Rangers. -.-
Thought now they don't have anything to play for they might finally help us for ****ing once.

Hope Leafs miss playoffs, only exciting scenario that's in play (other than Bruins avoiding Washington)
